The participants, including solo riders and teams of two and four members, will have to complete the race within a cut-off time of 12, 10, and 8 days, respectively. The race route passes through 12 major states, three major metropolises, and over 20 major cities.
The event has been set up with complete arrangements for a safe and successful event, including security and assistance teams. The solo riders in the event include Dr Amrit Samarth, Sahil Sachdeva, Sumer Bansal, Dhiraj Kalsait, Shubham Das, Mahesh Kini, Atul Kadu, Vikram Uniyal, Manish Saini, Indrajeet Vardhan, Geeta Rao and Amoeba Ravindra Reddy. The teams include Maha Cycling Squad, Maharashtra Police, ADCA and Amravati Riders.
The race began in Srinagar and will end in Kanyakumari, the southern tip of India's peninsula in Tamil Nadu. Along the way, the route passes through some of the most beautiful landscapes in the country, and the participants will have to face some challenging terrain.
